Felix and Alice’s fundraiser for Maddy’s Mark
Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race – 4 Days, 125 Miles, 77 Locks, 20 April 2025
We are being supported by Felix and Alice, two lower sixth students from Churcher’s College. Since the start of October they have been training every Sunday relentlessly for the the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race.
They will be paddling 125 miles, navigating 77 locks and camping out every night until they reach Westminster in the heart of London. It will be both very physically hard and mentally challenging.
They say “A bit about our journey: Until October we had never set foot in a K2 canoe. Through tears and sweat we have built up our endurance and strength, training in all weathers from snow to sun, becoming even closer friends.”
