On Saturday 14th March, the University of the West of England Women’s Rugby hosted Maddy’s Match in honour of Maddy Lawrence.
This is the first cohort of students who never played with Maddy but you would have never guessed. As they gave their all, not just in the game but in the fundraising week before the celebration and a great afternoon of rugby! They pied the committee, took a cold plunge, had a sponsored run and took fancy dress to training!
Sophie, Poppy, Abbie and the team did an amazing job! It was an extraordinary effort, of which we all felt so honoured.
