Alicia had never taken part in rugby before Bath Rugby Foundation joined with Maddy’s Mark and brought fun and engaging sessions to St Nicholas’s Primary School in Radstock.
Alicia enjoyed knowing that taking part in rugby was building up her muscles. This made her feel confidant and drove her to want to carry on playing rugby. She found it very inspiring that you can be any size to play rugby and it doesn’t matter where you come from, everyone can take part.
She wants to carry on playing rugby after the Maddy’s Mark sessions have finished because she really enjoyed being a part of a team. Everyone cheered each other on and it was a great feeling to be a part of it. Alicia’s favourite part of rugby was tagging the other team.
I would like to say to Maddy’s Mark and Bath Rugby Foundation Thank you for being amazing and thank you for teaching us how to play rugby.
